About Nafisa Moochhala, Author
Nafisa Moochhala is a consulting psychologist who has a Master’s Degree in clinical and child psychology from Purdue University (U.S.A.) and a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai.
She has taught postgraduate students at the University of Mumbai and has been a consultant for over forty years. As a consultant she worked with prestigious institutions, universities and schools such as the Training Division of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, S.N.D.T. University, J.B.Petit School, and has volunteered her services at the Maharashtra Dyslexia Association.
She has conducted workshops in counseling, emotional awareness, play therapy, and learning difficulties.
Nafisa strongly believes that motivating children to read is the first step in reading instruction. These books, with their humorous and well-illustrated stories, are practical and simple guides for teachers and parents on the ways to motivate children to read, and major from “I CAN READ” to “I LOVE TO READ”.
